Tax Credit For Employers Who Provide Health Insurance

If your small business or tax-exempt organization pays employee health insurance premiums in 2010, you may be eligible for a tax credit of up to 35% of premiums paid (25% for tax-exempt orgs) in 2010. To be eligible, you must have fewer than 25 full-time equivalent employees and less than $50,000 in average wages. Check with your tax professional to see if this credit applies to your business.
